Emphazema Medicine--Spiriva?

Anyone here take this med for emphazema. If so for how long and is it still as effective as it once was? (It's an inhaler)

whoson1st.ive never taken spiriva but ive heard it works well for some people,ive got copd and take singulair,combivent and advair,,takin the fkn advair is one of the reasons for my weight gain(i think)

Thanks for the response. Presently I only take spiriva and albuterol . The later i use off and on, spiriva daily. I was taking some other inhalor which my doctor stopped.

I have gained weight too (about 35 lbs since quitting a 3 pack a day habit more than 4 yrs ago)...hadn't given any thought to the meds as the reason, but will ask around.
